SAD!! One Of The Emirs Attacked By Boko Haram Today Reportedly Dies

The reports earlier today that two prominent Borno State Emirs, the Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idrissa Timta (pictured left) and Emir of Uba Alhaji Ali Ibn Ismaila Mamza (pictured right) were kidnapped by Boko Haram men while on their way to Gombe to attend the burial of Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar.

According to Daily Trust, one of the Emirs, Alhaji Idrissa Timta has died. Security sources said he died of heart attack while fleeing into the bush after gunmen attacked their vehicle and fired several shots which forced it to stop.

"Already, arrangement is being made to bring his corpse to Gwoza from Shafa. His corpse was found in the bush," a source said.

The Emir of Uba, Alhaji Idrissa Timta, who is younger, escaped while many of the people in their entourage have been reportedly abducted by the attackers.

It was gathered that most of the vehicles in the convoy have been set ablaze.

Formal military and civilian president obj, said he cannot wade in without the go-ahead of President Goodluck Jonathan.
However said this known in an interview aired last night on Channels television.
Recall that President of the Civil Rights Congress, CRC, and renowned independent mediator in the Boko Haram imbroglio, Comrade Shehu Sani had on Thursday confirmed that he attended a meeting convened by the ex-president in Abeokuta.
Sani had said in a statement that the meeting was attended by families of the Boko Haram sect members with the aim of opening new channels of communication.
Obasanjo told Channels he was "surprised at how certain meetings have turned out".
"I cannot have a plan without the Presidency being involved", he added, denying claims that he was "going on a one man mission". He insisted that it would be "idiotic" for him to have done so.
The former president noted that he was put on the back pedal with Sani's statement informing the state and national authorities that a meeting had taken place and admitted that he owed the government an apology for that.
"I have to involve the President and he also tells me this is what we are doing or this is what we are pursuing either in addition or along with what we are doing or not", he said.
On the allegation that the abduction of the girls was a plan by opponents to bring down the present administration, Obasanjo said: "If the Presidency is obsessed with one thing and one thing only and any other thing of concern to Nigeria is secondary, then the Presidency will take that position", which he said "will be unfortunate".
Obasanjo explained that "Boko Haram has been in existence for years…they didn't disturb my government because when I was in government I did not disturb their Sharia", adding: "Sharia is part of our constitution".
Reacting to the statement by Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Air Marshal Alex Badeh that where the abducted girls are being kept had been located, Obasanjo urged the military authorities not to engage in public relations stunts with the issue.
He said: "This is not an issue that you will play Public Relations propaganda with. It is a serious issue that is like a spear in the heart of the parents and whatever statement we make and action we take, if it will not really deal with the issue in a way that will bring those girls out safe and secure and make their families happy and will also give every Nigerian a sense of security, then such statements should not be made".
He added that the American forces have the capability to confirm or debunk the statement made by the CDS but remarked, "I will be pleasantly surprised if those girls are returned intact". God save us all.

This has been dragging on for a while,well this the whole truth the NCC as a regulator is responsible for promotion of fair competition in the communications industry and protection of communications services and facilities providers from misuse of market power or anti-competitive and unfair practices by other service or facilities providers or equipment suppliers.
The issue of data usage on Blackberry and Android smart phones has been generating a lot of comments lately and the Commission has a duty to protect and inform all stakeholders in the industry on all issues of concern.
RIM, the manufacturer of BlackBerry, utilizes a special compression algorithm to serve users of Blackberry handsets who have subscribed for Blackberry internet service. Whenever such a subscriber browses the internet and opens a webpage, a request is sent via the handset's browser requesting for the page to be downloaded to the phone. This request is channeled to RIM's gateway in Canada, which fetches the webpage, compresses it and sends the compressed data back to the BlackBerry phone as a download.
On an Android phone, the request to open a webpage by telephone subscribers is sent to the gateway of the network operator which then processes the information and sends back the page to the Android phone as a download (the data is not compressed – thereby requiring more bandwidth).
The amount of bandwidth uploaded is identical between both Blackberry and Android phones, the difference lies in the fact that most of what subscribers do on their phones is to download content which varies on both. BlackBerry is indirectly subsidizing bandwidth by compressing the content downloaded by subscribers.
In effect, an internet subscriber using an Android smartphone to open a webpage may be downloading 100KB of data, while a subscriber using a Blackberry opening the very same webpage would be downloading 25KB due to the compression of data by RIM.
Bandwidth in Nigeria is an expensive resource, because most data is transferred wirelessly. This is the reason why the NCC is promoting wired infrastructure around the country through such projects as WIN (Wire Nigeria) as well promoting a Broadband Roadmap for the country which will greatly reduce the cost of bandwidth thereby reducing the cost of browsing the internet on smartphones.

Eight Facebook Users Sentenced To 123 Years In Jail In Iran

In a country not too far away from nigeria,cyber crime has landed eight in jail as an Iranian court has sentenced eight people to a combined 123 years in prison for various charges including insulting the country's supreme leader on Facebook. The sentencing is the latest in a recent crackdown on Internet freedom in the country.
The eight, who were reportedly all Facebook users, were arrested last year by the Cyber Unit of the Revolutionary Guard. The Revolutionary Court in Tehran doled out prison sentences ranging from seven to 20 years for charges of blasphemy, propaganda against the Iranian state, spreading lies, and insulting Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The arrests were first reported by the opposition news agency Kaleme.
For Iranian human rights experts, the sentences are unusually harsh and could signal an intention to warn other Iranian netizens.
"The ruling [...] is clearly intended to spread fear among Internet users in Iran, and dissuade Iranians from stepping outside strict state controls on cyberspace," wrote the International Campaign for Human Rights in
Iran in a statement .
"One of the eight, a British woman named Roya Saberinejad Nobakht, received a sentence of 20 years in prison. Her husband said in April that she had been detained in Iran over comments she had made to friends
on Facebook and in online chat, calling Iran's government too controlling and "too Islamic," as reported at the time by the Manchester Evening News.
Gissou Nia, the executive director of the The Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC), noted that the Judge mistakenly applied "a new and controversial provision" of the nation's penal code and gave harsher sentences than would have otherwise been allowed.
"20 years for posting on Facebook? For goodness' sake. This is an extraordinarily harsh and disproportionate punishment," she told Mashable in an email.
"Unfortunately for her, the case was reviewed by Judge Moghiseh, a notorious Revolutionary Court judge who has had a long history of handing down extremely harsh sentences to activists, lawyers and journalists."
The British government acknowledged the arrest in a statement to Mashable, but declined to answer more specific questions.
"We are aware that a British national has received a custodial sentence in Iran," a spokesperson for the U.K. Foreign and Commonwealth Office said. "We are seeking to establish the full facts and are following up the case with the Iranian authorities."
Little is known about the others arrested, aside from their names and respective sentences: Amir Golestani, 20 years; Masoud Ghasemkhani, 19 years and 91 days; Fariborz Kardarfar, 18 years and 91 days; Seyed Masoud
Seyed Talebi, 15 years and one day; Amin Akramipour, 13 years; Mehdi Reyshahri, 11 years; and Naghmeh Shahisavandi Shirazi, 7 years and 91 days.

Both supporters, according to eye witnesses were alleged to have slumped and died during the UEFA champions final match between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid on Saturday.
It was gathered that they slumped and died, following the inability of Real Madrid to equalise the one goal lead of Atletico Madrid before the full time of 90 minutes.
Real Madrid eventually won the match by four goals to Atletico Madrid's one.
The deceased, Mr. Olusoga Ogunbanjo (39), a refrigerator technician at No 23A, Smith Street, off Evan Street, Lagos Island and Mr. Bambo Sholeye,(42), a staff of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), of No 49/51 Apatira Street, off Olushi Street, Lagos Island were die hard followers of Real Madrid.
Ogunbanjo, popularly known as Soga by his friends,was said to have gone to shave at a saloon on Okepopo Street, off Olushi Street and decided to watch the match with other football fans gathered at the place.
The shop owner, Danku said: "Soga came to shave and after shaving, he decided to watch the UEFA champions league final match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid and when it was 90 minutes and Real Madrid has not levelled-up with the one goal deficit, there was tension among fans that Real Madrid had lost the match.
"It was a boy sitting beside Soga that noticed how he slumped on him and raised the alarm. We quickly rushed him to the emergency section of the Lagos General Hospital, where he was confirmed dead by medical doctors on duty."
Sholeye who had also watched the match at a nearby shop had left the place in frustration after regulation time, lamenting the failure of Real Madrid to equalise the one goal scored by Atletico Madrid in the first half of the match.
His relatives said the angry Sholeye brought out a chair in front of his house to relax when suddenly he slumped.
Family members and neighbours rushed him to the General hospital for medical attention but were told he had already died.
Family members and relatives could not but wonder in pains why their loved ones would lose their lives just because of a mere football match which was not even played in Nigeria.

If u have been looking for an easy way to root your tecno device then this is how,remember its at your own risk,which am certain would not go wrong if you fellow this step well,Rooting your Android device gives you full control over your operating system and file system. Hence, you can install custom ROM's, themes, Apps and more on a rooted android phone,first download this app by typing Download Poot Tecno n3.apk on google search the download

- Ministro 2 Library(Get it from Google Play Store)

- Root Checker Basic(use it to check if your phone is rooted)

How to Root Tecno N3 Using Poot

- Make sure you install Poot to the internal memory i.e. Remove memory card.

- After installing Poot, run the application. It will ask you to install MINISTRO II and you'll some message like "update ministro library" so just update through Google Play Store.

- Now after installing and updating the libraries of QT, your phone will restart itself automatically or if it doesnt, reboot it manually. You'll will get two buttons:

1. Press here to poot

2. Built in root check

- Click on the first button which says "Press here to poot" and hold on till it brings out 3 buttons, if you see 3 buttons congratulations!!! it means your tecno n3 is now rooted.

Now launch Root Checker Basic and tap "verify root access" if you get this message: "Congratulations! This device has root access" then you are sure your tecno n3 is finally rooted.

You can test it by downloading Super User Application from Google Play Store.

How to change blogspot.com to dot com

Well personally this does not matter to me but it does to a lot of bloggers so today I would share with you the easiest way to do this. Some reason why u should include; - You will get a customized email address for your blogger e.g. yourname@ domain.com
- It encourages you to be committed to your blog because you have invested money in it
- If you leave blogger, you can point the domain to another host for example a wordpress self-hosted site and you will still keep your tranking and traffic etc
Note:After changing your blogspot url to .com, if anyone still visit the old .blogspot address, the person will be redirected to the new .com address, however you blog readers / subscribers wont be left behind.

Well what u would be needing are;
DOT com successfully
- A funded Mastercard / VISA Card (e.g. GTBank Naira Mastercard, Zenith Bank Mastercard etc verve atm not accepted)-
A domain name which is still available ,u can verify that by going here Goto www.namecheap.com
- Enter a domain name and click on Search
If the name is available, then go ahead and pay for the domain name using your Mastercard or VISA card.
Next u would then add Add a Custom Domain Name Using Blogger New Interface
After buying your domain name from namecheap you have to change Domain Name System (DNS) settings and enter google blogger CNAME's. In a bit, here is how to do that.
- Login to Blogger Dashboard
- Goto > Settings under Publishing you'll see Blog address.
- Click Add a Custom Domain
- Type in your name in Advanced Settings and click Save. You'll see the Name, Label/Host field, Destination, Target or Points you need to copy and paste in the DNS setup.
Now you have to verify your authority to this domain by changing the CNAME's from your domain registrar's website.
- So Hit back to www.namecheap.com
- Login to your Namecheap account and go to Manage Domains
- Click on the domain you would like to edit
- Click on Transfer DNS to Webhost (or Domain Name Server Setup) to setup the nameservers for your domain
- Select Specify Custom DNS Servers (Your own DNS Servers) option and enter the Name servers accordingly
- Click Save changes
It may take up to 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect to be propagated worldwide its all dependable on your host.
That's All. You have succesfully change blogspot url to DOT com.

This did not happen in Nigeria oooooo

Una don see this picture online abi and similar ones on several online platforms, claiming its US troops capturing a Boko Haram member..mmmmm, well it's false. U.S Pentagon has stated there will be no American troops in Nigeria at least for now. The team sent are experts to help with communications, logistics, and intelligence. The picture above going viral is French troops in Central African Republic in 2013.

Also, you can see in all the pictures floating online, from the uniforms, the African soldiers taking notes from American forces are from Uganda and Somalia. Military aid has been in Africa for sometime under AFRICOM to help train our military.

Now to the second issue; are there foreign troops in Nigeria? There are reports this morning that the Special Forces of the US Marines have sited the abducted Chibok Girls in Sambisa Forest this report is hard to believe because the Pentagon, the UK and France made it clear that they are only providing intelligence service (intel & surveillance technology) to work with the Nigerian military for now!

Also yesterday CNN said US intelligence made claims that the girls are not in a single location, so how come they've now been sited at Sambisa Forest? Even if US intelligence analysts were able to find the location, will they share the info with the media before the girls are rescued? So officially there are no foreign troops in Nigeria for now, except the foreign government is lying to the media about the kind of help they are providing and really sending troops.
