click ok, if you see a message like SUCCESS , then your sim swap has been completed, you can go ahead and use the new sim immediately.
i know you would be wondering how to do this since your sim is not available, all you need to do is to use any of your friends or family members phone to download the mtn selfcare app.

Ever tried downloading a anything like movies or files online I was trying to download an ebook file from a website just like it happened to me,I clicked on a certain download page and i was welcomed with series of surveys to fill them before i will be able to download the file.
I filled the first survey, the second one came. I was trying to complete the second survey to unlock the download link then it took me to nowhere. It just ended like that without neither a thank you message nor a direction to download what i was looking for. So i decided to refresh the page, and the first survey came up again for me to fill.
So annoying, then i decided to find a way to bypass these surveys instead and download what i want.
I know survey participants want to make money but when their surveys are too lengthy and makes no meaning some times, it begins to annoy me. So i had to find a way to bypass them. This tricks is very easy and effective. It works on Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. It might work for other browsers too. Just try it. How to Activate my Payoneer Master Card after Receiving it

Hello readers,In my previous post, i had written on How i got a free Payoneer Master Card from Infolinks, the card was shipped to me here in Nigeria and i got. Here, i will tell you what next to do when you receive your card.When your payoneer card delivery date has elapse, you will be notified toactivate your payoneer cardimmediately. If your card failed to reach you, it might be that you used the wrong postal address. You can still use a valid address and request for a re-issue of the same card.

But if you pick up you card successfully, you will have to activate it first before you can use it either to pay for goods or withdraw funds. Activating your payoneer cardis so simple but for those who still don't know how to do it, here is a tutorial how i did mine.

How I Activate my Payoneer Master Card after receiving it

Activating your Payoneer master card can be done in two ways. The first was the method i used.

1. Visit the payoneer official website here www.payoneer.com, click on 'My Account' then enter your username and password.

From your dashboard click on 'Tools' and then click 'Activate your Card' from the drop down menu as shown in the pix below.

Enter the 16 digit number written on the center of the card. Enter your unique 4-digit PIN number, Check the terms and condition then click Activate. That's all.

You will receive an email confirming your activation success.

2. The second method is via phone call. Look at the phone numbers written on the sheet of paper that came with the card. Just make a call via, your card will be verified asap. I can't write the numbers here because they might change with time.

Take Note:You should not attempt to withdraw cash via ATM if your account is empty, the ATM machine will seize your card and you will have to follow strict protocols to get your card back. You are also not allowed to change your 4-digit PIN via ATM, you only do it in your Payoneer account.

This guide is to help people root their Galaxy S4 Active devices. Model SGH-i537 on AT&T.

1. First go to Settings and click the "More" tab. Then go into security and check "Unknown Sources."
2. Visit http://geohot.com/activerootfrom your device and click the lampda picture to download the apk file.
3. Run the apk. It should give you a message telling you that you have root. Worked almost instantly for me.
4. Visit the Play Store and download SuperSU. (NOTE: You MUST download and use SuperSU to manage superuser permissions, nothing else. Only SuperSU currently can circumvent Samsung's "root blocker" in the kernel.)
5. Open the Super SU app and update binaries.

A. No one knows for sure. The Galaxy S4 Active is a niche product available exclusively on AT&T in the USA. It will never reach the sales numbers that the original Galaxy S4 will achieve because of this. Since the original GS4 will be the phone in more users' hands... the same can be said for the hands of developers. A developer who bought the original GS4, is not likely to also buy a GS4A. That being said, the original GS4 is a very popular device and people are working hard on it's bootloader. The GS4 and the GS4A are similar enough that if the GS4 gets unlocked, luck may shine on us and the method may unlock our phones as well. But, as the old saying goes, "I wouldn't hold your breath."

What To Do First:

How to Recover Erased Data Using Free Software

There are many programs in the web that will help you recover erased data. Some great ones and some mediocre ones; some very costly and some free. In the following tutorialI will describe what I believe to be the best solution for recovering erased files from your computer. A method which works on virtually any operating system; Windows, Mac or Linux. A method which is safe, reliable and free.Do not be scared of the size of this article, it is actually a walkthough and it is very easy to follow.
Something I must mention before starting this tutorial is thatonce you have deleted the file, you need to recover it as soon as you possibly can.Every minute that your computer is on, is a minute counting against you.Why? Let me explain. In order to save time your operating system does not really delete the file; it just marks the space the file occupies as available. As soon as the space becomes available, it can be overwritten at any time. Your operating system is constantly running tasks in the background, therefore, even if you do not save anything to the hard drive, your data can be overwritten just by having your computer on, specially if you do not have much free space available in your hard drive.
Something else worth mentioning is that,you cannot install the data recovery software in the same hard drive your data was deleted from, otherwise your data might get overwritten by the installation of the recovery software. So what do you do now? You could take the hard drive out of the computer and connect it to another computer as a slave, or make make it an external USB hard drive. However, these solutions could be time consuming, complicated, and even dangerous for computer illiterates. There is a smarter solution which the majority of commercial data recovery programs do not offer: booting from a CD instead of from your local hard drive; this CD will run its own operating system and will have the data recovery software installed as well.
In this tutorial we will learn how to use two free, open source and extremely useful programs. One, a Linux live CD called "Parted Magic" and the other a data recovery program named "Photorec".
Instructions
Connect an external hard drive or USB flash drive to your computer; this is the drive we are going to use to extract the data to. If the drive is not empty it is wise to create a folder to dump the recovered data in.For our example I have created a folder named "Recovered Data".
Boot your computer from the CD-Rom drive. Newer computers have a boot menu which will let you select which device you want to boot from. It is usually one of the F keys on top of the keyboard (Usually F10 or F12). You must press this key quickly, right after turning your computer on (you have a very brief amount of time for this). If yours does not have a "boot menu" you are going to have to change the boot order in your computer's BIOS, and set the CD-ROM as your first boot device. To access the BIOS you also need to press a key on your keyboard immediately after turning your computer on. Right when you turn the computer on, it will tell you which key to press (it's usually F1, F2 or DEL).
When Parted Magic is up and running, the first thing you are going to do is mount your external hard drive. To do this, click on "Mount Devices" on Parted Magic's desktop.
Look for your external drive and click on the "Mount" button to mount it (if it's marked green it is unmounted, if it's marked red it is mounted). Parted Magic is a Linux liveCD and Linux does not use drive letters like Windows does, it uses paths.Write down the path assigned to your external drive.
Click on the Parted Magic start menu, then click on "System Tools" and finally click on "Photorec".
Photorec will then open in a terminal window;select the drive you wish to recover data fromusing the UP and DOWN arrow keys on your keyboard. Then, on the bottom of the screen, using the RIGHT and LEFT keys, make sure "Proceed" is selected and click "Enter" to continue.
Select the partition table typeand click "Enter" to continue. If it is a Windows or Linux partition, leave it on "Intel". For Macs choose "Mac" or "EFI GPT".
Select your partition. Be sure to select the right one; you can usually tell by the "Size in sectors". As you can see in the picture down below, our hard drive has two partitions; the one with the highest size in sectors is the one we are looking for. The other tiny partition was created for the use of the operating system and is irrelevant to us.
Then, if you want to search for specific types of files, rather than for every single deleted file on the hard drive, select "File Opt".
Contrary to what its name leads to believe, Photorec not only recovers photos, but a vast list of files as well. All files are selected by default; if you want to remove some of them and leave only the ones you wish to recover, go through the list using the UP and DOWN arrow keys anduncheck any files you do not want by pressing the space bar on your keyboard. Press the "b" key on your keyboard to save your preferences and select "Quit" to go back to the previous menu. Once on the previous menu, select "Search" and click enter.
Next,select the filesystem type. Photorec usually detects this automatically. Press "Enter" to continue.
If you just want to recover files that have been deleted select "Free". However, if you want to recover files from a hard drive that has a bad or unreadable partition, select "Whole". For example, a hard drive which displays the error "missing operating system" when you try to boot from it, or an external hard drive which displays the error "This hard drive needs to be formated" when connected in Windows.
Now, remember the path I told you to write down at the beginning of the article? the path assigned to your destination drive? We are going to need it now. The path our drive has in this example is "\media\sdd2" (yours will probably be different), so first select "media" and click "Enter" to continue.
Then, select "sdd2" (yours will probably be different) and click on "Enter" to continue.
Next, select the directory you created for data recovery. For this example ours was named "Recovered Data". Select it and click "Enter" to continue.
Now that you are finally inside the destination directory, click "Y" on your keyboard to begin recovering your data.
Photorec will take a few minutes to scan the drive and recover the files.
You can see files even as they are being recovered by clicking on the "My Documents" icon and selecting the destination drive and path. Go into the folder you created for data recovery; you will see that Photorec has created a bunch of directories, inside you will find your recovered files.

How to Install the LAME MP3 Encoder for Audacity

Audacityis a free and powerful audio editor that works in a variety of operating systems, such as Windows Mac OSX and Linux. Audacity, however, cannot save files in mp3 format by default; it needs to use an external encoder to do the job. Fortunately, there is a quality mp3 encoder that will do the job and its free: The Lame mp3 encoder. This encoder, however, does not have an installation package for Windows on its page, instead it refers you to a number of 3rd party sites that have created Windows installation of this codec for Audacity. With this tutorial I will try to simplify the whole installation process which it was done in Windows 7, however, it applies to all versions of Windows from 2000 to 7.
Instructions
1) Get the Lame mp3 encoder for Audacity on Windows from Buonzo's page http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/. Just scroll down and look for something like the picture below, click on it, save it and install it on your computer. There is nothing special you should know about the installation; just keep hitting next until you finish installing it.
Once installed, open Audacity and click on "Edit" and "Preferences".
Click on the tab labeled "File Formats" and then on the "Find Library" button.
Look for the file "lame_enc.dll". You will find it under "C:\program files\lame for audacity\". Select it and click "Open" to continue.
Back on the Audacity preferences window, there is an optional setting you may wish to change; the bit rate. The larger this bit rate setting is, the more quality the audio will have but the larger the file will be as well. I find that 128 is enough, however, some people prefer 160, I personally do not notice any difference; beyond 160 I would say its overkill. Once done selecting the bit rate, click "OK" to get back to the main Audacity screen.
Click on "File" and "Export to mp3".
Click on "Save". Next, Audacity will ask you to enter the ID3 tags; this is not to be overlooked. These tags are used by CDs and mp3 players to display the artist's names and the song's titles, so make sure you fill out those two fields. Click "OK" to begin the encoding process.
Audacity will finally encode the file in mp3 format.
Final Thoughts
Audacity is the most widely used open source audio editor and mp3 is the most likely used audio codec. It is a shame that both do not work together from the start. There are many mp3 encoders out there, some of them are good, and some so bad that the poor quality of the encoded files is noticeable. Lame mp3 encoder is one of the best and it is free. However, it needs to be made to work with Audacity, fortunately a few smart people have decided to create a Windows installation of Lame mp3 encoder for Audacity. I decided to write this tutorial to simplify the process even further.

Google Docs not only allows you to create the web form, but also host it on its web servers so you can send the link via email or incorporate it on your website. In this article I will describe how to create an online web form using Google docs.
Instructions
Create the Form
For this tutorial,we will be creating a simple asset inventory form for computer equipment. The form will be displayed as a webpage, with users having access to it via a link (or the actual page) being sent to them on an email. The form can be embedded on a website as well.
Create a free Google Docsaccount if you don't already have one, and login.
Near the top right hand side of the screen, click on "Create New" and then "Form".
You will be presented with a simple form you can edit. The current question you are editing will be displayed with a yellow background. The first question will be a "Text" based question, so you do not have to delete the default first question, just edit it. In this question you will be asking for the person's name. Make sure tomark the question as "required", so users cannot skip it.
To create a new question go to the top left hand side of the Google Docs interface and click on "Add Items" and then on "Multiple choice". This will create a question with a number of items the user will be able to choose from. In this question you will be asking for the computer type.
Enter the question's title. Add the first Item on the menu "Desktops" and then the second "Laptops". Check the box to make it a required question and click "Done".
Add a final "text" question to ask for computers' serial numbers. And click on the "Done" button to finish.
Add a Template
Now that we finished making our simple computer equipment inventory form, we are going to change its looks, to make it more appealing to the public.
Next to the "Add Item" button you will find the "Theme" button; click on it to see a wide variety of themes. Click the one most appealing to you, then hit the "Apply" button. For this project I picked the "Binary Blue" theme.
Making the Form Accessible on the Web
Once we are done creating our form it will be automatically published by Google Docs. We now need to notify our users of its existence and how to reach it. Google Docs provides two methods to accomplish this: You can embed the form in a website or email it. For this project we are going to be emailing the form.

Google Docs will graph the data for you as well. On the main forms edit menu, click on "See responses" and then "Summary"
Drawbacks
One evident drawback of Google docs forms is that you cannot create conditional questions. Questions will never change depending on the answer of previous ones. In our tutorial it would have been useful to have the possibility that, once a person had chosen whether he has a laptop or a desktop, the next question would have offered a list of possible model numbers depending on the outcome of the previous answer. Separate lists of available model numbers for laptops and desktops would have minimized possible user errors. However this is not possible.

Best Data Recovery Software – Top 10 List

Sometimes you can encounter difficult data recovery jobs where you need all the help you can get; this is the reason why I have decided to compile this list. As you can see, almost all of the utilities in this list are free and open source with only two exceptions Spinrite and Recover My Files. Not all software in this list is dedicated specifically to recover data but all of them are essential in the data recovery process. The list is done according to importance and usefulness.I must point out that most of the programs are free, however, that does not mean that they are lower quality; they are as good and some of them better than similar commercial products.These are the tools I use whenever I have to perform a data recovery job.
1 – Ddrescue:
Ddrecue is not at the top of my list for nothing. Ddrescue truly works magic when you have to recover data off a bad hard drive, and when I say bad I mean it literaly. Ddrescue works by extracting a raw image from a bad hard drive to a good one, what makes it good is that it tries to obtain that image in every which way it possibly can, even reading data backwards. This makes Ddrescue VERY effective even when trying to recover data off hard drives with mechanical malfunctions. Obviously Ddrescue cannot recover data in 100% of cases because there are factors outside it powers, like hard drives with bad logic boards, plates that do not spin, stuck heads, bad heads, etc. However, if it can be recovered, Ddrescue will do it. 2 –Ubuntu Rescue Remix
Ubuntu Rescue Remix is a bootable LiveCD containing a collection of data recovery utilities, such as Ddrescue, TestDisk, Photorec, Foremost, etc. It is essential when doing data recovery due the amount and quality of the software contained in it. Read my article on how to use Ubuntu Rescue Remix and Ddrescue.[Free, Open source].
3 – TestDisk
Testdisk is one of the best programs out there to recover lost partition tables and MBRs. Operating systems usually make backups of the MBR and write it somewhere in the disk. TesDisk finds these backups and restores them. It works better than the Microsoft utilities that come with the operating system disk, like fixboot and fixmbr. 4– PhotoRec
PhotoRec is a program designed to recover erased files, or files that are not readable due to corrupt partitions etc. Contrary to what its name implies, Photorec does not only recover photos, but a wide variety of files as well[Free, Open Source].
5 – SpinRite
I generaly prefer free and open source utilities, however, there is no program that does what Spinrite can do. Spinrite recovers data from bad sectors, and somehow it gets it right. The way Spinrite works is that it reads the same bad sector up to 2000 times, every time it might get a different reading, then, it chooses what it believes is the right bit based on the results of its readings. Then it takes this information and moves it to another good sector[Commercial].
6 –HDAT2
Some utilities like Windows ScanDisk claim to fix bad sectors, but all they do is relabel sectors as good again. This is useful when viruses mark sectors in the hard drive as bad, however, it does not really work when sectors are damaged for real. HDAT2 does not recover data per se, but it fixes real bad sectors so they can be used again. It works by fixing or re-magnetizing the damaged area so it can be writable again[Freeware].
7 -Recuva
Recuva is a software everybody should have on their computers. It does the same as Photorec but with a nice GUI, making it more user friendly. It works well, however from experience, I prefer Photorec, since it tends to be more reliable[Free, Open source].
8 – Foremost
Foremost is a program designed to extract files out of raw images. It works by using data carving on raw images to obtain actual files. It is designed to work in conjunction with Ddrescue and other imaging software[Free, Open source].
9 – Parted Magic
Is a collection of data recovery tools in a LiveCD similar to Ubuntu Rescue Remix with the difference that it has a GUI and therefore it is more user friendly. The reason why it is not at the top of my list is because Ubuntu Rescue Remix has more tools for data recovery. Parted Magic does data recovery, but it is not its main focus; it is more of an "all-encompassing" hard drive tool. It is very handy when you have to move files among hard drives and convert or resize partitions[Free, Open source].
10 – Recover my Files
Recover my Files is software designed to recover lost or erased files. Out of all commercial packages, this is probably the one I like best for its purpose. I have been able to recover files with this software even when hard drives exhibit the famous "click noise of death"

6 THINGS YOU MUST DO BEFORE YOU CAN PASS POST-UTME EXAM

In no time most institution will start selling post utme entrance form and some people don't just know what and how to get them selves prepared,so you made past the first step by passing your JAMB and reaching the cut-off marks of your choice institution; but there is still a very heavy and high hurdle to cross. You might not know, but hundreds of thousands of students are still jostling for that admission slot you are envying. So you need an added advantage that will give you an extra edge over them as the purpose of that screening is the get the best out of the best of all the students that applied for admission in the institution.
